In Spring 2023, Projectivity received its 8th grant award from NeON Arts, in partnership with Dept of Probation and Carnegie Hall. The grant funded a youth DJ program where students learned the art of DJing from Projectivity teaching artist and veteran DJ, DJ Xcel. Students spent 12 weeks learning how to use software and hardware, develop playlists, and perform live mixes. During the program, students engaged with multiple guest speakers, visted Schoo of Audio Engineering, did a guest radio show on MakerPark Radio, and performed at Carnegie Hall!
