Projectivity noticed a need on Staten Island for more muralists. There is an abundance of artists, but not many muralists so Jodi Dareal set out to find and train new ones. After putting calls out for applications, we confirmed a list of 6 artists that participated in the mural training program. This was hosted in partnership with Illuminart at Snug Harbor. The 6 week program culminated in a group mural in Building P at Snug Harbor. As a result of the training program, Projectivity hired 3 new muralists that have been working as artist assistants and project managers on new gigs.
